Stuart Reid

Stuart was born in 1915 and was the second youngest of 9 children. He never married and after serving in world war 2, he settled in Southampton. Underneath is the last time he saw my father Matt (his only younger sibling) Shortly after this my father died of cancer.

According to one of Stuart's former landladies, he passed away in the nineties.

This photo was taken at Rose Cottage, Whitepark where we lived and where my second cousin Sharon (Reid) and her husband Robert Beattie lived for a time.
