Above Photo, in the back row and far left is Alex Reid, who emigrated to Canada and reared his family in Toronto. . Below is his only granddaughter Colleen standing outside the original 'Reid' homestead in Ballyeaston village, (July 2006), outside Ballyclare in Co. Antrim. Behind her is 1st Ballyeaston Presbyterian Church. This is where James Reid (from Paisley, Scotland) first settled when he came to Ulster. The house has probably been renovated a few times since then and only this year, 2008, it has been completely rebuilt.

Left and Bottom left:

Ballyeaston School which was knocked down several years ago to make the church car park bigger.

Stuart and my father Matt and all their siblings went to this school.

The Plaque above the entrance is now embedded in the car park wall.

Thanks to Tam Allen for the photos. That's his car sitting on the road.
