Alexander Reid (born 1827)
From the left is Elizabeth Mc Keown (nee Reid) descended from James Reid 1820;
and next to her is Elizabeth Reid her cousin, the lady I am called after, next to her is Alex Reid , Margaret Reid , Annie Reid then my father and mother Thomas and Sarah Reid.
On the front is my brother David Reid. All descended from James' brother Alexander 1827.

Elizabeth Bell (nee Reid)
It seems that my cousin Jim Reid got talking to Richard Bell and his wife Elizabeth during a game of bowls and Elizabeth mentioned that her maiden name was Reid. Her son Nigel (Bell) did some detective work and found out that James Reid from Paisley is our common ancestor. Thanks Nigel for all your help. Also, the fact that aunt Lizzie is in this photo is ample proof for me that Nigel and I are on the right track. (Hill Reid March 2009.)
